The grapes from the vineyards are also used for the production of the "Quinta de Sao Jose" table wine.

The estate has 3, recently restored, independent cottages which have magnificent views over the Douro River. All the cottages have central heating and are air  conditioned. 

Casa Verde Cottage is located about 80 metres from the other 2 cottages and is rented on a self catering basis. It has 2 twin bedrooms both with ensuite bathrooms.

Dining room with open plan kitchen. Sitting room with sofa, Satellite television and open fireplace. Private outdoor terrace facing the river.

The other two cottages are adjoined and are named the Pink House and Blue House.

The Pink House has 2 twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, dining room/kitchenette and a very large sitting room with fireplace.

The Blue House has 2 twin bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, sitting room with fireplace and a small kitchenette. It also has a terrace with wonderful views over the river.

Both cottages can be rented as 'self catering' or, on a bed and breakfast basis.
Next to the cottages is the Brown Room which is an an independant twin bedroom with private bathroom. It is rented on a bed and breakfast basis.

If the 3 cottages and the Brown Room are taken together it gives a total of 7 bedrooms sleeping up to 14 persons.

Breakfast is served in the dining room of the main house. Evening meals can be arranged, with prior notice, and served in the dining room which can seat up to 14 persons.

The swimming pool is set on one of the terraces and is shared with all guests, including those staying in the main house.

The estate is located about 135 kilometres from Porto Airport and approximately 35 kilometres from Regua.

In addition to these cottages, the main house, Quinta Sao Jose, is about 80 metres away and accommodation is available.

Activities available in the area include bicycle riding, canoeing, boat and train trips and walking along the river side. The owner can arrange wine tasting, picnics and cultural trips to Lamego and to Foz Coa's Prehistoric paintings.

The Amarante Golf course is just 1 hour away.
