This region has most of these grand houses due to the sunny, temperate climate and the beauty of the hills and river valleys. The luxuriant vegetation has resulted it being known as the Green Coast
The owners live in the main mamor house and have converted the cottages of the former estate workers into holiday accommodation.
All of the conversion is done to the highest standard and has been inspected by us. They all have a kitchen or kitchenette and use of a shared swimming pool.
Prices are per day and there is a minimum let of three days
Towns in the area include Valenca, Cerveira and Caminha on the Minho river, the old sailing port of Viana do Castelo and also Ponte de Lima and Ponte de Barca in the Lima river

These cottages usually have one or two bedrooms but two cottages can be rented togethter if available. Altenativly a small villa can be rented.
