What are 'Manor House Cottages'?	These are cottages in the grounds of the estates. They have been renovated to a high standard for tourists. The swimming pool etc. is used by all the cottages on the estate.
Do the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms?	Yes, in almost every case. The site gives details of the accommodation.
How do we check if the cottage is available?	Click on the auto request form, complete your requirements and send.
What is the minimum length of rental?	Three nights.
Can we hold an option whilst we check flight availability?	Yes, normally 24 hours.
With whom is my contract?	The owner of the property to whom payment is made direct.
What is the price?	Exactly the same as the owner charges direct.
What are the payment terms?	1 to 4 days - Provide credit card authority and pay on arrival 5 days or more - 30% non refundable deposit
How do I guarantee my reservation?	By complying with the payment terms above. For the houses who do not accept credit cards, the credit card authority is held by ourselves and will only be activated in the event of a 'no show' or late cancellation.
What is the method of payment?	In Euros to the owner of the house. Not all owners accept Credit cards.
What is the price for?	The rent of the villa for one night with up to the number of persons stated on the cottage details. It is NOT per person.
What services are included?	Light and fuel, linen, cutlery/crockery etc. are included unless otherwise stated on the site (e.g.winter heating).
What is not included?	Indicated on the cottage description. Extra is usually charged locally for additional services such as air conditioning, winter heating, pool heating, additional maid service, laundry of clothes etc. Beach/pool towels are not included so bring your own.
Can you arrange for extra beds for additional party members?	Often a ‘foldaway’ bed or a settee bed is available - Please ask.
Who are you?	We are Manor Houses Lda and we assist our clients with the promotion of their tourist accommodation. Click on the name for more information.
Do you know the cottages?	Yes. All properties have been visited by us and are only put on our site if meeting our standards and safety requirements.
Do you remove properties from you site?	Unlike most other listings of holiday accommodation, we do not accept any money for listing on the site. This enables us to remove a property at any time if our standards are not met.
Do we need visas?	Usually yes, if you reside outside the European Union. Apply to your local Consulate and allow plenty of time for the application to be processed.
Do I need a passport/ID card?	Yes, and please ensure your passport is within date.
Can we take our pets?	Usually no, but in certain circumstances (e.g. show dogs) an owner will accept dogs.
How far is the beach from our chosen villa?	Check with the description on the site.
Are air flights included?	No. The price is for cottage rental only allowing you to obtain the cheapest flight available.
Do I need a hire car?	Most cottages are in country areas and it is essential. Check with us if not having a car.
